Yá'át'ééh Shawn Hongeva yíníshyé. Yé'ii Dine'é Táchiinii nishłí. Áshįįhi bashaschiin. I am Navajo and Hopi from Flagstaff Arizona, originally from Black mesa. Graduated from Northern Arizona University with a bachelors degree in Creative Media and Film with a minor in Anthropology.
As a young film maker I like to create and tell stories whether it be projects that other tell or projects I find an interest in. My creativity and drive to learn more is what keeps me looking for the next project to work on. Being part of the creative process is what I like the most about being on film projects, whether that be cinematography, sound design, lighting, or editing.
My hopes as a creative storyteller is to continue to grow and learn how to become better with every project. To continue to learn more about the filming process that I haven't witnessed before.
I've worked a bit with photography in hopes that it would help me fine-tune my creative eye and cinematography skills. Working with lighting, blocking, and composition to create something visually appealing.
